Did Pen and Paint just finish? Why yes, yes it did.

Do we want more Spuffy? Why yes, duh, of course we do. What kind of question even is that?!

Summer's ending. And this September for the Flannel and Fangs event, it's time to bust out your favorite flannel and write some cozy yummy Spuffy fic! This year we were inspired by the feel good vibes of Cozy BookTok. Magic, romance, crackling fires, cool breezes, falling leaves! It's shipping Heaven, no?!

But at the same time... this is Buffy and Spike we're talking about. So maybe your Flannel and Fangs fic/art has a little more teeth than that. Maybe it has a lot more teeth than that. Your vibe might involve a splash of blood, misty moonlit cemeteries, new horrifying monsters, perhaps complete and total Sunnydale mayhem? 

Whatever your mood is this autumn, we are looking simply for Spuffy fall fun with this event. Gorgeous awards by Claire will be given to all authors, artists, betas, and top commenters who participate! (Please thank Claire for this incredible event banner she's bestowed upon us all!) The only real requirement for this event is that the first chapter of your story/art is posted in the month of September. All formats (drabbles, poems, art, multi-chapter fics, etc) and word counts are welcome! Just make sure the essence of fall, according to you, is a special feature! 

The event begins September 1! We can't wait to read and admire what you come up with, whether it's a meet-cute or a meet-murder. Spuffy has range and Sunnydale After Dark does, too
