There are new fans every day but they don't find buffyforums or they don't join. But I do believe there is still an audience (and participants) for Seasonal Spuffy. So, it's more about how to to it in the future, not if to do it. At least I hope so.

writers here on SAD as well as on EF. There are also the reaction videos on YouTube and many podcasts and they manage to attract an audience. It's just a different type of platform and a different way to get involved in fandom. We have a similar problem at Buffyforums.

@slaymesoftly: I think some of the Spuffy fandom has simply moved to other platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Discord. None of which are really a good option for an event like Seasonal Spuffy. People still watch the show and people still fall in love with Spuffy. There are new Spuffy fanfic

maybe generate more participation. The hope is that making it more accessible (it is very accessible, but that is not the perception) will generate participation. Perhaps not. Maybe the Spuffy fandom has shrunk to the point where it can't sustain that level of activity. We don't know....

think it's too hard to navigate/comment/whatever. Or, if they're just readers and new to fandom, they may have never even heard of it, and would participate if they knew more about it. At one time, there was a round every season, dropping it to just two was an effort to not burn out the mods, and

for about a month. It started on LiveJournal but with the decline of LiveJournal they tried to find a new additional home at Dreamwidth. Sadly Dreamwidth is also not very active, that's why the mods are now looking for new options.
