Slay, I'm so sorry you went through that. We lost power for 10 hours and it was just too much for me. I went to the car to be warm and charge my kindle and read. I'm glad you're okay.

Wow, slayme! Glad you're okay. I know I'm down the road from you basically and yeah those winds were no joke! I was certain q tree was going to fall on my brand new house but luckily we escaped it!

ok, finished the story and added it. Probably have to do some editing and revising tomorrow, but at least I can say I had a Christmas Spuffy story. Off to sleep now.

wi-fi, landline phone, and tv. Basically nothing but our cell phones, which only work in one room of the house. We have a generator and a wood stove, so much better off than many of our neighbors were.

It was mostly wind and really frigid temps here. Not a good combo when the wind has brought down a huge tree across the road through our village and all the power and cable lines with it. Left a huge number of people with no power, and those of us with Comcast with no internet. In our case, that was

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I was without power and interent since Thursday afternoon or Friday morning (it's a blur). Power was back after a couple of days, but internet just got back up a bit ago. Lots of catching up to do.
