Always charming, but yes, he tends to know exactly what he's doing most of the time. I used to remind myself that this is a man who "lies" for a living, and by now he knows what behavioral tics his fans want to see from him. Now that he's older, I suspect he doesn't have as many fans groping him.

I've met him a few times, and there's definitely a difference between him in "performance" mode and in one-to-one contexts. Always charming, though.

I understand from people who have met him multiple times, that he actually does get embarrassed fairly easily, even though he dares people at cons to embarrass him. Though, I also wonder how much of it is acting, because we all know what an amazing actor he is! Thank you for sharing this!

I'm not convinced he wasn't acting. He tends to know exactly what he's doing. He did, after all, thwart the plans of his character's creator by making millions of people fall in love with the character. Not that I'd hold it against him if he were. Like the character he played, he's a charmer.
