When we had to move out of my apartment after Hurricane Katrina, my parents, brother, and I did it all in one day. My sweet dad even cleaned out the very nasty fridge for me. lol I've never seen so many fridges being thrown out.

On the opposite side of that, my mother once told my father that if he wanted to move, she'd need 5 years notice.

When I was young and in my 20s, I lucked out on apartment hunting in NYC -- I managed to move 6 times in 18 months -- and the rent kept going down (rent control only allowes the landlord to up the rent by a certain percentage to new tenants) and the last apartment I ended up paying $46.00 a month --

Hahaha, I agree - moving is horrendous! My husband keeps asking me if I’d like to move elsewhere in our town and I’m like, nope, I’m good where I am; I like the neighbours. But my real motivation? I do NOT wanna have to box up all our stuff!

Well, there's an incentive for authors to reply to comments.
Not that I don't think most of us do, but not everyone does. Now there's an additional reason (other than just saying "thanks for reading")

It's now just "reply" and anyone can reply to any comment! It's new and we're still playing around with the commenting features, so let us know if you encounter any issue with that!
